This is an original Australian daybill for the 60’s re-release of Jailhouse Rock.

Folded as issued.

The poster has some paper loss in the bottom right corner, edge wear (the worst on the lower left side) wrinkling, a tiny blotch to the right of Elvis’s face and the words “Jailhouse Rock” written on the back of the poster.

There is also an obvious lighter coloured strip at the top and bottom of the poster where the frame it was housed in offered protection to those sections of the paper.

With these caveats in mind this is an excellent piece of cinematic history that has become increasingly hard to find.

A perfect candidate for linen backing or restoration.

This particular daybill design was also released in blue.
