John Pinches 925 Silver EEC Medallion

DESCRIPTION This is a 1973 boxed John Pinches 925 silver EEC medallion & UK United Kingdom first day cover as shown. The medallion is covered in plastic and then housed in a first day cover. The medallion can not be removed without causing damage to the cover. The medallion is unchecked for errors, varieties, mint marks etc, more details can be found on Numista under the Exonumia tab. The medallion was issued to celebrate the first day of membership of the EEC, European Economic Community.

CONDITION I will leave you to decide; please look at the photos carefully. I think the general condition is good used collectable for the age. As you can see in the photos, there are user, knocks, handling & storage marks etc to the box. There is damage to the red box strip as you can see. The foam at the base of the box has disintegrated due to age. In the box there will be dust and parts of foam. There are very slight tone marks to the back of the medallion.
