This is NOT the actual meter you will receive! THE ONE YOU GET WILL BE IDENTICAL IN ALL WAYS EXCEPT THE NUMBERS WILL NOT BE THE SAME!! THEY WILL STILL BE LOW NUMBERS AND THE METER WILL LOOK FANTASTIC, JUST LIKE THE ONE IN THE PICTURE!!
Here is a NEARLY NEW LOOKING Badger 5/8 MODEL 25, 5/8 X 3/4 inch water meter!!
The register shows LOW numbers.
The condition of the body, dial, and the inside (seen through the end hole) is EXCELLENT!!
The inside can be seen through the end hole, with no rust film on the screen, or on the turbine, through the other hole!!
It has the "recordall" register dial
It has the 4G antenna remote install transmitter attached to the meter with a long wire. HOWEVER I have NO way to test it. It has a long-life set of batteries embedded in clear epoxy inside the antenna. IF the batteries are at end-of-life the meter MAY not transmit. The batteries MAY charge off the generator inside the register, but I don't know if this is true. I would imagine the meter would have to be installed on a water line before that part of the meter "comes to life". The water company I got many meters from says they come on line the first time the dials start to register water usage......
At the very least, the dial can be direct read through the odometer numbers...
