Large French Movement With Visible Escapement
Quality and large French movement with a visible escapement which looks in good condition. By top French clock maker L Martie ?. The bell rings well and the straps are present but the bottom of the crutch is off and missing the bell hammer. However I have one in stock which I will include and could be adapted to fit.
The dial is enamel hands are there. Mostly very good (couple of very minor hairline cracks which are hard to see). It has jewel pallets which are dirty and both springs are good and fully wound.
This very impressive and quality movement is much larger than normal and will fit a hole 19cm in diameter or 7.5in.
A nice quality bell striking French movement that is sold as seen not working, incomplete for a full restoration or parts only with no guarantees or returns. A very nice quality project.
