Hellenia De-Oiled Sunflower Lecithin powder - 500g

Lecithin is one of the richest natural sources of Choline and Insitol. Lecithin is an important nutrient when it comes to maintaining healthy brain function. Choline is transformed into Acetycholine, a brain chemical vital for the transmission of messages between the brain cells. Lecithin is a fat like substance called a phospholipid. It is produced daily by the liver if the diet is adequate. It is needed by every cell in the body and is a key building block of cell membranes; without it, they would harden. Lecithin protects cells from oxidation and largely comprises the protective sheaths surrounding the brain. Lecithin is composed mostly of B Vitamins, Phosphoric Acid, Choline, Linoleic Acid and Inositol. Although it is a fatty substance, it is also a fat emulsifier. This sunflower lecithin powder is non-GMO, and a great alternative to soya lecithin.

Directions for use: Take 15g daily with meals, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Mix in juice, shakes or sprinkle on food.
