For sale is my 1976 Generation One Honda Civic (one of only 5 on the road according to 'How Many Left?'} which I bought about 6 months ago so I could stick two fingers up at current London Mayor Ghengis Khan!!  In my ownership I've fitted new tyres, rebuilt the back brakes including new brake pipes, brake cylinders and shoes, fitted new headlight units to replace the sealed beam ones, new screen washer system and had the exhaust completely repaired (required lots of welding as new parts unavailable).  I've also worked hard to ensure the aftermarket sunroof is now watertight. Internally the car is in great condition having only done 40,450 miles from new, three of the door cards even have the original  plastic protection from the factory!! I genuinely believe the passenger seats have never been sat in.  I am only selling now as, being somewhat senior with a dodgy back and knees, I find the car too low to get in and out of.

The car has some rust in the places that these early Honda's suffer from; it will require welding to the passenger side sill and the inner wheel arches, there is bubbling along the bottom of the passenger door and at spots around the car, Also the paint has suffered on the bonnet but this I consider patina! Ideal for a rolling restoration and a very rare little vehicle, if you go to a car show you could almost guarantee you would have the only one there (my original reason for buying it).

For complete disclosure the original MW radio does work but no volume, the clips on the hinged rear windows are broken, currently closed with cable ties, and the heated screen is not working.

Included in the sale is a genuine Honda replacement windscreen, bought on spec when I first acquired the vehicle, price was right and imagine the grief you would have finding one if ever you needed a replacement. Serious bidders only please. You bid, you buy, not come to haggle, don't waste your time and mine!!!  Reserve reduced.
