Feldpost card, written at Waterfall (Farm Wasserfall), sender noting “…tomorrow I’m going on foot to the mountains with 9 men…” struck with neat Keetmanshoop c.d.s. (8 Jan), and black “KDPAg KEETMANSHOOP” official seal with Crown & Post Horn, addressed to the 1st FeldCorps in Windhuk, crossed-out and affixed with bilingual “Verstorben / décédé” (Deceased) label, trivial edge wear, scarce; with 2017 Rolf Haspel BPP certificate. 

The card’s intended recipient, Otto Paech, was killed on 13 January in Okahandja, serving under Lt. Raimund Boysen.
