The Wanderer Works were originally founded in Chemnitz and were important manufacturers of bicycles, motorcycles, cars and office machines. In 1932 the cars division was sold to Auto Union Chemnitz, the racing department was looked after by Ferdinand Porsche from 1934 to 1937, and the Silver Arrows were the Mercedes sports cars' biggest competition. Photos from transfer trips Chemnitz:Munich, the International Alpine Race 1931 Kesselberg/Bad Tölz/Munich (winner: Graumüller, Dresden; Bau, Chemnitz; Hinterleitner, Munich), the International Colonial Exhibition in Paris 1931, as well as photos of excursions in Munich and the Surrounding areas are the subject of the estate.
