These items come from the estate of a recently deceased 82nd Airborne/Gulf War vet, who was an avid modeler and collector of action figures and associated items. There are hundreds of built and unbuilt armor models, as well as hundreds of action figures and related items (see extra images of action figures alone). The items are being sold to help raise funds for a local modeling club and in the repairs of a local church.
Pricing: Opening bids are based on 50% of the lowest realized price I could find in the last three month. This opens the bidding to everyone. If you are the only bidder, you will be getting a bargain. Even if a bidding war ensues, there is a good chance to still get the item at a low price.
The items will be posted over several weeks due to the sheer volume of material on hand. Please excuse any problems with descriptions that do not correspond to reality (e.g. oddball German names; SS uniforms identified as army and vice versa etc.); I will use the manufacturer’s description to allow easier searches.
Most of the items are in their original packaging. That said, most of the items were opened by the original owner, accessories added and then returned to the box. I will endeavor to describe any “defects” as I see them, but I am not a collector of these, so I may have missed something that is of importance to a collector. As always, check the photos. I am also happy to answer any questions.
Postage will be charged at cost. I have no control over shipping rates, although the more purchased, the per unit cost goes down. Shipping and handling may be added if packing materials are not on hand and have to be purchased. I will ship internationally, although the postage goes up exponentially. I also will not ship any WW2 German items to Germany, if any so-called “offensive” insignia are displayed.
