Stunning ceramic table lamp with an exaggerated vase shape and wooden base. The vase is decorated in bands of cobalt blue and a malachite-like bluish-green which drip into one another down the body. The shape is reminiscent of a genie bottle influenced by a Chinese onion vase. This would look stunning in any mid century modern home or just as a unique and eye-catching piece. Stylistically I would date this from the early 1960’s.

Lamp is approximately 23 inches from base to bottom of harp, 26 inches from base to socket. Ceramic portion is 19 ½ inches tall, 12 inches diameter at the widest point, 4 inches at the top, 5 inches at the base. Wooden base is 7 inches diameter, 1 ½ inches tall. Cord is 7 feet 6 inches. Fits a standard, medium sized lightbulb base. 3-way socket for variable lighting levels with correct bulb. Condition is very good, all electrical components are in good working order. It does have some damage. There is a hairline crack running from the base to about 7 inches. Additionally, there are four very small damages to the glaze, there is some crazing surrounding these flaws. The cracks are very difficult to see, and do not affect the integrity of the piece, aesthetically or structurally.
