this is a 9 piece set, 4 glasses, 4 coasters, 1 caddy protector, the glasses are silver or platinum with a Roman Soldier's Shield, 3 on each glass, and a Roman Soldier's Head and Helmet on the coaster, all are glass with a hard platinum in the glass, its not painted on the glass so it will rub off it looks like it is made in the glass.  these were given away in the 40's and the only way to get one was to have a Guardian Serviceware party as a Host.
