Synopsis:

The villain Venom, Eddie Brock, seeks revenge on Spider-Man for ruining his life. In his quest, he encounters Black Cat, who unwittingly reveals Spider-Man's secret identity to Venom.

Significance:

This issue is significant because it features the first full cover appearance of Venom, a popular Spider-Man villain. It is also the third overall appearance of Venom after his first two appearances in The Amazing Spider-Man #299 and #300.  The comic book has become a valuable collector's item.
