Absolutely beautiful copy of the original 1965 first pressing of Hank Williams Jr.’s Ballads of the Hills and Plains LP on MGM mono E-4316. This was his first true album, preceded by a soundtrack and a duets record. This is the first full-formed Hank 2 solo record, and pretty great already. He is doing some western type stuff here, with the Outlaw sound still in the future. This copy is just beautiful, still in the original shrinkwrap. The disc has a few light marks but it plays just about flawlessly and truly beautifully. Really a great playing copy. The cover is almost pristine, with only the slightest wear at the open edge, barely. This is a top original mono copy, hard to beat.
