1950’s metallic pewter taffeta cocktail dress. I worked at a vintage clothing store 30 years ago and this is one of the gems that came through our door. Even back then, dresses like this were few and far between. Absolutely immaculate except for one tiny hole not much bigger than the tip of a pencil (see photos) The hole is located on the front of the skirt just left of center. Other than that this piece is pristine, not so much as a snag or loose thread. No fading, no perspiration stains, no water marks, no runs, no nothing (Any inconsistencies you might see in the fabric are just creases) It was altered at one point as evidenced in the last photo that shows the back at the waist line where it was professionally let out. Has a side-zipper. It’s as stunning as it looks. It was one of my favorites for New Year's Eve and Oscar parties.
