Large Antique Heavy Hammered Solid Brass Vase Hunting Scenes, India pre-WW II. Beautiful high relief reverse hammered with various hunting scenes. Look at the craftsmanship and compare it to the cheap etched pieces being turned out currently. Search eBay and other sites and you won't find one like it. Don't miss out on this great piece.Stands just over 18 inches high and about 7" in diameter at widest point. Weighs a hefty 4 pounds and in very nice condition with only a few minor dents in base.

This came from my grandmother's estate in 1953. I can remember it and another identical one sitting on her hearth when I was a young child. I was born in 1943. I have no idea who got the other one. My mother inherited this one and said she remembered them from her own childhood and they were old then. She was born in 1923. I inherited it from her in 2010.
