When their wealthy father suddenly dies, two Latino sisters quickly discover what life's really like on the other side of the tracks. Having led pampered lives in Beverley Hills, Nora (Camilla Belle) and Mary (Alexa Vega) receive a rude awakening when their father dies and they are taken in by their distant aunt Aurelia (Adriana Barraza) at her home in East L.A.
