Japanese Black Pines are the Kings of Bonsai. These powerful trees are extremely hardy and flourish in many different conditions. My trees are field grown during their second year of growth then added to a training pot for year 3.

At this stage I will wire the tree or leave it untouched for the buyer to sell. My trees are all grown on my 1 acre farm on a mountain in rural Western North Carolina. The epic conditions create strong and dramatic trees.
