Pair of antique art nouveau floral lingerie or hosiery clips, sterling silver 925, beautiful modeling, circa 1900, the flower motif alone measures 1-3/8" in diameter, when opened as in the main photo, each measures 1-3/4" x 1-1/2" overall, marked STERLING in an arch and 925 on the fittings, see close up photo, no maker's mark, but looks like Unger or Kerr pieces, we're not quite sure how they work, there are little "teeth" to grip, see photos, the pair weighs 22.7 grams, they are definitely too pretty to be hidden from sight, good condition, light tarnish, sold as found, previously owned, from a local estate.
