Huge 57.7cm blade is in good condition with manufacture details " Mf Nat 'le de St Etienne's Janvier 1871" along back edge. Bayonet is in good condition for its age with normal surface toning, good steel scabbard stamped C776 41?, fits blade well, bayonet measures 70cm full length (not including scabbard).
