A fine Calf Creek type point found broken.  This measures 1 11/16" tall by 1 11/16" wide.  This is an Early Archaic to Mid Archaic piece dating in the 8,000 to 5,500 BP range.  Made out of brownish green Boone Chert.  Found in Boone County, Arkansas on the upper Hog Creek near the town of Valley Springs.  Thin, great base and ears.  A perfect candidate for restoration if desired.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.

This piece was found by Jessie Tramell / Tramell family of Harrison, AR.  It was found in October of 1999.  Sold to Joe Vandiver of AR.  I acquired this piece from Mr. Vandiver in 2003.
