This wonderful brooch is made of Bakelite and lucite. It is an articulated baseball player. The torso is made of clear lucite. The arms, legs, hat and bat are tested Bakelite. There is an interior crack to the inside of the clear lucite. The crack appears to be the result of the tiny screw which holds the clasp. The crack in no way diminishes the overall charm or quality of the brooch. The brooch is 4 1/4 inches high.
