After the great success with the BK201/3 KH, it made sense to create a slightly smaller bass horn - BK 169/3 KH - based on the 16 bass Fostex FW 168 HS, the 2" midrange driver BMSFostex To include the T 90 A ring radiator in the program. This is in order to take into account the numerous wishes of our customers for a concept suitable for living spaces with the small JABO horn without making any compromises in terms of quality. The housing is based on the legendary BK 201, slightly reduced in width, so that the crossover differs only slightly from that of its big brother BK 201/3 KH. It is just as complex and voluminous and delivers the same sound quality. The KH-30 spherical wave horn is moved slightly upwards due to a higher stand angle and the T90A tweeter is placed underneath on the bass horn. The switch is mounted in a large separate housing on the back. Overall, the new BK 169/3 KH produces the same fantastic sound with excellent fine resolution and 3D spatiality as the larger model. Especially for slightly smaller listening rooms and space constraints.
