If you are tired of reading a lot of disclaimers attached to ebay auctions, you have finally found one where there are none. This is a PAIR (2) of Rebuilt Premium Level World Famous Wolf Enterprises Corvair Carburetors. You get both for the final bid - one bid, two carbs, so when you select "1" when you buy, you will get 1 pair. But I still get questions about that???? They are Ethanol-Proof. They will work on all 1965, 1966, and 1967 engines. They can also be used on all 1968 and 1969 engines to improve their performance as the later ones do not have full mixture adjustments. The number shown on hand doesn't mean they are built and ready to go. They might be, but I have added some lead time to be sure.

You can have Rochester HV primary OR H secondary carbs in this auction, but I will ship primary carbs if you don't specify. Most carbs can be used on different year engines without any modifications other than the main jet size, but my recommendation is to stick to the same or newer year as your engine. If you have a 140 HP engine and need 4 carbs or secondary carbs I have separate auctions for them that will save you a few bucks. There is a good chance the ones on your engine don't match as a result of many swaps or incorrect rebuilds and it is very important that both carbs be the SAME YEAR. I will ship primary carbs in this auction if I don't hear from you.

Your new HV carbs will flow better than stock and be more responsive to tuning and engine demand. You should also get better gas mileage. They include the best gaskets and parts available and set up and adjusted to eliminate most, if not all, synchronization procedures. Unlike others you can purchase, everything on these will be matched and correct for your engine, including idle emulsion and vent tubes, enrichment circuit jets, main metering jets, all air bleeds, and of course, venturi clusters (there are 28 different ones). I am the only rebuilder providing NEW SS accelerator pump levers and new rods to take up ALL of the slop in your carb linkage system. The carbs will have the correct .086" fuel inlet seats with Viton tipped inlet needles. Many other suppliers and re-builders seem to be using a generic .101" fuel inlet seat (originally for a Rochester 2BBL carb) which will result in a rich setting (air pollution and waste of gas and hard to sync) regardless of your adjustments.

There are also several proprietary improvements you will appreciate. I install new Fasteners and Lifetime SS Fuel Filter Screens instead of the old style sintered bronze cylinders. The carbs are recolored in OEM tones like the photo (yes, they really did look like this from the factory) and come with base gaskets and the vent plug. All rubber and gasket parts that come in contact with gas are "ethanol proof" as advertised by their suppliers. I include instructions and tips for an easy installation. I can usually ship these a day or two after payment is received. If you want to send some rebuildable cores from the same year that you purchase, before or after receiving your new carbs, they are worth $80 back to you when they arrive. (I will include instructions). We have rebuilt over 10,000 of these over the past 20 years, so you can be confident in your purchase. Just check with me for core rebate details if any of this is confusing. I will take extra carbs in trade to reduce your cost even further.

If you order elsewhere, you will probably get something off the shelf that might work. I know, because I am sometimes asked rework other sellers' carbs for unsuspecting buyers who were unable to get a good idle or refund. (You might be shocked to learn that some others reuse the old fasteners, paint the old shafts, don't remove throttle or choke plates when cleaning, and use incorrect parts from just about any year; so ask good questions where ever you decide to buy). If you buy some carbs that still have the stock shafts (over 50 years old, remember), you can bet they ARE going to have an air leak. FWIW, there are over 100,000 different parts combinations for these because of all the changes GM allowed (I'm a retired high school math teacher), so be sure that your rebuilder is an expert on the differences. These are fully guaranteed to work. If you are not happy for any reason, just send them back for a full refund. (Carbs fit engine sizes 95, 110, 140 HP. Some common search mistakes are: carburator, rodchester, 1BBL, and spider). These will not work on the Spyder 150 and 180 HP Corsa engines, but I have that carb, which is a Carter YH, for sale in another auction.  I do not post or share questions and answers on eBay for your privacy, so don't be afraid to ask.

The plastic choke vacuum pull offs and spacers ARE NOT included, but I can supply them in another auction. I will refund that postage and a discount for any duplicated parts if they are purchased with the carbs.
