For sale, my unique 2007 Highway One (USA) upgrade version / 2020 Road Worn Stratocaster; a gorgeous looking, great playing and fantastic sounding Fender Strat, complete with a tweed hardshell case.

In summary, this is:-

- a USA made 2007 (upgrade / MK2) Highway One Strat, with

- a 2020's Fender special-run road worn 60s Strat body.

The body is factory finished in aged & faded Candy Apple Red Nitro-Cellulose; it looks and feels fantastic.

Everything aside from the body, strap-buttons and jack socket / plate are the Highway One guitar, the body is from the more recent Road Worn model. (The black-pickguard is also a more recent addition, but the original is in the case.)

The upgraded Highway One guitars are fantastic - a modern C neck profile, 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard, steel-tremolo sustain block, the astonishingly effective "Grease-Bucket" tone circuit and the Alnico 3 pickups add up to a simply fantastic sounding Strat.

Frets have recently been polished, the guitar strung with a fresh set of GHS Boomers (10-46) and the action set to 1.75mm at the 12th fret with the trem 'just' floating off the face of the body (and staying in tune very nicely).

IMPORTANT - there's some visible fret-wear, mostly in the open-chord area of the neck. This honestly doesn't affect play, or cause any buzz / rattle - I'm very fussy and if it did, I'd be very clear about it.

So, 100% Fender (albeit from two separate guitars) and arguably 75% USA Fender, this is a just a great guitar!

The tweed case is used but in good condition, there's  a load of the guitar's original case candy inside (including the original pickguard).

Why am I selling it? Because Mrs Minipete says that if I don't sell this one (and I'm going to regret that) I'll have to sell my custom Matt Schofield Strat.

I'm happy to ship the guitar, securely packed, and fully insured, but you're very welcome to come and collect it. Alternatively, we may be able to "meet halfway".

IMPORTANT - if you're offshore or in the highlands & islands, please get in touch before buying to make sure that I can organise shipping at a reasonable price.

Any questions, please get in touch, and please do check my feedback as a seller. (I'm not a business, I'm a player and hobbyist.)
