A Wartime edition of the classic "When we were very young" by AA Milne, illustrated by EH Shepard. This was first published by Methuen and Co Ltd in 1924 but this is the 30th edition, cheap form from 1939 so on the verge of WW2
This was presumably bought 2nd hand as i do not recognize the name on the inside cover.
Although i have not checked every page, I have tried to give a flavour of the issues in the pictures.The spine is in quite good condition but the cover is faded and has some water and other stains. An enterprising child has coloured some of the black and white pictures and done some crayon drawings inside the back cover-it looks a bit like my sister's work so would be from the early 1960s.
I am also selling the 1960 edition of "Now we Are Six" and would do combined postage on both for £4.25- sadly both are too thick for letter postage.
