I have told this story before with other pans I have sold, but it is fun enough to repeat. So back in the day, or early 70's, I worked for MainMan which was David Bowie's management company. And I made way more money than I needed, and possibly more than I was worth, lol. In any case, each week, I would put half in savings and the other half I would spend. Our offices were on Park Avenue and while exploring I found the marvelous Bazar 666 not too far away, and that is where I spent a lot of my play money. I am sure that for a year or so, I was one of their best customers. It was truly like paradise if you liked to cook. I probably even still have one of their catalogs. You might want to google them, just to get a bit of history even if you are already familiar with this little bit of heaven. The pan I am listing today is a large 14.25 inch au gratin pan, and the measure includes the handles. It is 8 inches wide and about 1.5 inches deep. It does not say Bazar 666 on it that I could find. Iit does say made in France on one end and on the other end it says N Y City. It is in good, but very used condition. The tin lining looks suspicious, but it is actually intact. It could use a nice polishing, but I am unlikely to get to it...but I might do a bit of cosmetic cleaning before I send it out...but 'might' is the key word because I am somewhat lazy and quite old. All of the fastenings are solidly intact also. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I happily combine shipping, so please check out my other listings and thank you for looking.
