This is an incredible piece of ephemera from one of the most glamorous eras. Carole Lombard and Clark Gable once stayed at the Plaza during one of her film shoots. This cocktail napkin has some creasing on the corner and writing on the back, which is fun to read. "We are going Ritzy lunch. Had a Coke and Dad had a beer. Big Stuff Ha Ha." At least I believe that's what it says! Risqué image of a woman in a cocktail glass. I am pretty this sure hails from the mid to late 1940s, one of the golden decades of nightclubs and lounges.
