Listed is this original 1929 vintage postcard showing a military parade passing through Savannah Georgia in the USA. The parade is led by Sailors of the Royal Navy America and West Indies Station, based at the Royal Naval Dockyard in Bermuda. Following them are 2 ranks of US Navy sailors. The image is dated April 26 1929.


The postcard is in good condition. It has some light age related staining and minor wear to the corner & edges. It shows signs of mounting on the rear.

This Postcard came from an album compiled by a Royal Navy Sailor who served in the America and West Indies station at this time. I am currently listing more photos and postcards from this collection.
