VERDI (1813 - 1901) MARBLE BUST / SCULPTUERE- MADE IN ENGLAND

Giuseppe Fortunino Francesco Verdi was a much loved Italian Romantic composer, mainly of opera. He remains one of the most influential composers in the19th century and his works are frequently performed in opera houses throughout the world and, transcending the boundaries of the genre, some of his themes have long since taken root in popular culture - such as 'La donna è mobile' from Rigoletto.

A cool, smooth reproduction sculpture produced using a unique dry casting process with white Carrara marble. Over 90% of the finished piece is natural marble which gives the fine, crisp detail found in our extensive range of sculptures, busts and wall plaques. 

The inscription on the front reads 'VERDI'.
