DARK OF THE MOON - Anthropomorphic Moon Face Jug-Spice Jar

Height:        3  inches tall

Width:         3.25  inches wide

Length:         4 inches long

The Dark of the Moon is a mysterious time. It is traditionally when the last crescent is visible or not visible at all, but more than that it has flavored the literature with intrigue and mystery. In folklore, it is a time to plant root vegetables like potatoes and tulips. It is also a good time to get rid of those garden slugs, yuk! This fellow was thrown on a potter's wheel, and his features were hand-sculpted. His eyes and teeth are porcelain. This character would look great in a kitchen, desktop, or any Face Jug collection. This face jug is initialed and dated by the artist. It is an OOAK, was designed and made by me, Susi Nagoda Bergquist.
