This is an old Wolf Cub belt, the type of which was used in the United Kingdom and elsewhere in the Commonwealth until the 1960s.
It comprises of the traditional two-part interlocking steel chromed buckle, the centre part having the image of a Wolf Cub head. The outer part has the words:
Wolf Cubs
Do Your Best
the motto and part of the Grand Howl Cry
The leather is in three sections with two steel loops which are worn above the hips.
on the loops are clips from which a penknife, compass or whistle could be worn.
As it is the belt would fit a small waist of about between 26 to 30 inches  but could be made bigger by adding an additional adjustment hole or replacing the rearmost leather strap with a longer length of leather.
It is no longer part of the current scout uniform but i am sure that Akela would not mind it being worn today.
It could be worn as a fashion accessory with everyday clothing such as jeans or other casual wear.
i am sure it would be a good talking point and much admired piece of fashion.
Thank you for looking.
