Here's the perfect suit for year-round use outdoors courtesy of Alpendale of Mytholmroyd. The suit was hand tailored in West Yorkshire; naturally it's of outstanding quality.
An English tailored shooting suit of this quality will cost you £600+ brand new - so this is a great opportunity for a substantial saving.
The suit is tailored from a 50 / 45 / 5 wool - acrylic - other fibres tweed in a traditional Derby design. The cloth's actual colour is best captured in photos 6 and 19; the suit is a shade greener than it appears in the other pictures.
The suit is durable, mothproof, weatherproof, breathable and naturally comfortable to wear.
Features of the jacket include: three pleated patch pockets on the outside; best quality buttons; two pockets on the inside; a fast-drying satin polyester lining; twin rear action pleats and Norfolk 'belt' detailing across the back; a single rear vent.
Features of the trousers include: belt loops; an Opti zip; two front pockets; two buttoned pockets at the back; fast-drying polycotton linings; a shirt gripper around the inside waist band.
The suit has been worn very briefly on just one occasion, and is in immaculate overall condition: essentially it's flawless / pristine / perfect / mint / as-new except for a little light discolouration to the linings of the trousers - this will be invisible during normal use, and may come out with a dry-clean (photos 17 and 18).
Most importantly the suit is completely free of moth damage, scent or odour. Don't be fooled by the light creasing apparent in the pictures - this will naturally disappear with use.
Sizing: the suit is a generous 42 Regular, and should be suitable for someone around 5' 10" tall with a 42" chest and a 38" waist, worn loose for freedom of movement and additional warm layers underneath.
Worn snug / fitted over just a shirt the suit will comfortably accommodate a 44" chest and a 39" waist.
Returns due to problems with sizing are not accepted for this item, so please consider the following measurements very carefully:
