Laugh It Off, by Laurie Tayler, with pictures by Amos.  A patriotic book from World War Two, celebrating the work of the men and women in the services and on the home front - finding humour in the Land Army, Bomb Disposal Squad, and even rationing.
Published by Raphael Tuck.  Undated, but clearly early 1940s.   11.25" x 8.25" approx.  Weight 140g.

Condition:  Old booklet, published during the Second World War, when wartime shortages and government restrictions affected the quality of printed books.  It has clearly been enjoyed over the course of many years, and is still in good condition for its age, though not perfect.  The printing quality is uneven - some pages are faint, and some are slightly blurred.   Pages are in good clean condition, with some creased corners.  Thick paper covers have scuffs and stains, as shown.  Staples are rusty.  Small sticker on the back cover.  Gift inscription in the front: to Mutt from Reginald Jeffcoat.
