A rare book from Andrew Lang's incredibly popular Fairy Book Series. This title being much scarcer than the "coloured" ones. In terms of condition, this is excellent with some fading and rubbing to top/bottom of spine. The front exterior is excellent+, with incredible gilt decorations which are still very bright , with only a small crease to bottom right part of front. Otherwise, some minor rubbing to corners. The interior is exceptional, with the exception of the first few pages (light foxing) and end plates (some discolouration and personalisation [see photo 12]). Perhaps an ever so slight lean to spine, but very minor indeed. A fantastic book in excellent condition.
