Pleased to replace my Xfinity rental!

The ARRIS Modem/Router arrived promptly. By virtue of the accompanying instructions, was effortless to connect> I called the ARRIS tech support just for reassurance and they advised me about contacting Xfinity to complete the installation and register this new model Modem/Router with its serial #. Much to my surprise, the Xfinity rep was equally helpful and deactivated the Xfinity modem. I then returned the Xfinity Modem/Router & power cord to the local Comcast office. I am delighted that I will no longer be paying the $13/month rental fee to Xfinity
