Description: Victorian Trade Card - LION COFFEE, Woolson Spice Co., Toledo, Ohio

Here's a very pretty vintage advertising card featuring a scenic view with a number of people enjoying a day at the lake. There are canoes or rowboats pulled up to the shoore, a woman walking along the grass with one hand holding a red parasol and the other a small child. Other people are relaxing beneath the trees. That scene is flanked by pink flower buds on the left and a yellow rose on the right.

The back advertises LION COFFEE, "composed of a successful combination of MOCHA, JAVA, AND RIO".
Size: approx. 5.5" x 7.5"
Date: Not dated. Lithographer: Not identified.
Condition: Just good, I'd say. This card is only lightly soiled, but has two missing corners, with the other two corners being somewhat crushed. The edges are a bit rough and there are several creases or thumb bends at the corners and edges. (Please see scans.)
