You don't find reels like this! The best 5/6-weight reel ever!

This is an original ABEL Pt .5. This one was built by Steve Abel himself. There is absolutely nothing that compares to the ultra-high quality of this reel. Comes with warranty card and ABEL reel bag. 

As noted above:  "This is a new, unused reel that is considered a "blem" because of a sticker that was put on the frame during the anodize process and caused a small circle of a darker gold finish.  It's not terribly noticeable. Comes with original ABEL reel bag and warranty card... no box."

This reel a titanium nitrite coated, gold locknut for an added special feature that makes this a rare one. 

It features a solid spool with the high-gloss black anodized finish and solid frame with the ABEL wedding ring gold anodized finish.  It features a beautiful, hand-polished ebony wood handle, and the world-famous, ABEL drag system that is the smoothest, strongest, infinitely adjustable drag you will ever find... and you will not believe the feel!  This is why ABEL Reels have earned the name, "The Rolls Royce of Fly Reel."

Currently set for left-hand retrieve and is not user convertible.  If you prefer right-hand retrieve, let me know and I can convert it prior to shipping. 

Current "comparable" reel $845, but nothing compares to the original, Steve Abel reels.
