This vintage 1970s quilt is a one-of-a-kind piece that features a beautiful log cabin design with a red chimney. The quilt is made of a variety of materials including percale, cotton, and cotton blend. It measures 78 inches in length and 92 inches in width, making it a perfect fit for a king size bed.The quilt has been stitched and quilted with great attention to detail and features a rustic country colonial style. It can be machine washed.

I made this quilt when I was first married in the 70s for my mother, and I don't think she ever used it.  I have had it since she passed away and I have had no king size beds in my home.  I would like to find it a good home.  At some point she took it to Belks Dept store when they were having a contest on quilt making, and this quilt won an award for best new handmade quilts.  My great grandmother's quilt won the award for best vintage quilt.  The judge said they counted the number of stitches per inch to determine the winner.  I spent many wonderful hours quilting this.
