1972 Press Photo St. George Figurine on Exhibit at Science Museum, Chicago

This is an original press photo. "Arts of Mexico" -- The traditional ornamental ceramic work which represents St. George is part of the "Arts of Mexico" exhibit being held at the Museum of Science and Industry (Chicago, Illinois) from Sept. 17 through Oct. 15. This piece along with 300 others are being presented in the month-long exhibit as part of the Mexican independence observance. Organized by the government of Mexico, the exhibit will feature the work of Mexico's leading contemporary artists and craftsmen and reproductions of ancient pottery and sculptures.Photo measures 8 x 10inches. Photo is dated 10--1972.
