This is a folding razor cutting implement. It has a replaceable razor blade for a cutter. I suppose it is a box cutter or utility knife that very handily folds up for safety. The blade says Gits Razor- Nife. It is in preowned condition with signs of wear, rust and dirt.

On the handle is an advertising message from Jack and Jeff’s Tavern in Milwaukee. That is one of the many establishments that have occupied the old Schlitz Brewing Company Building since they sold out. At one point it operated as East Side Bar, Young Bachelor’s Tavern, and Mr B’s Tavern. In 1962 was when it became Jack and Jeff’s Tavern. In 1965 it became Regency East Lounge. In 1970 it was Caesar’s Cocktail Lounge and then changed to Under The Bridge. From 1985 until 2000 it became known as Sequel’s. I understand the building more recently housed Trocadero & Di Moda Pizza and then Tauro Cocina.
