Summary: This ultra rare and elegant men’s timepiece, studded with 24 diamonds, had the world's slimmest calendar movement when it was introduced and is still exceptionally thin by 2024 standards. It is in very good condition with a few minor surface scratches on the case back (see pics), a scratch-free crystal and unspoiled leather strap. A new battery was installed in May 2024.

The Edox Classe Royale Ultra Slim 27029 3D AIN is a stylish, comfortable watch. This Swiss timepiece features a Brushed & Polished Stainless Steel Ultra-Thin Case, Brown Genuine Leather Strap, 24 Dazzling Diamonds set on Bezel (two per hour indicator),Beautiful Silver Dial set with Silver Tone hand indicators, Silver Tone Index hour markers, Date displayed at the 6 o'clock position, Scratch Resistant Sapphire Crystal, Case back Engraved: “World's slimmest calendar movement” Swiss Quartz movement, Water Resistant 30 meters/ 100 feet.
The thing that stands out most, however, is how incredibly slim the watch is. This is because the watch features a special movement that was developed by Edox; the Edox Cal. 27000. This movement is one of the slimmest movements with a calendar function in the world, a mere 1.4mm thick. The watch itself is a mere 5mm thick. The slim case also means the watch is very comfortable and will fit just wonderfully under a shirt cuff.
