To soften Oyumaru, dip a piece in hot water (approx: 80 degrees C/176F) for about 3-5 minutes. Take the Oyumaru out of the water with a pair of tongs, dry it off with a paper towel and press it against your original to make an instant mould.
Oyumaru picks up fine detail surprisingly well. It is excellent for fingerprints. For gamers and model makers, use it for casting replacements or making your own extra bits like weapons, upgrade parts, pads, armor designs, and anything you need for models and wargaming. You can combine several sticks to make larger moulds.
