Authentic vintage 1980's Gucci Accessory Collection classic GG monogram PVC vinyl Ophidia shoulder or short crossbody bag. Bag has zipper top closure that opens to a large interior compartment with a zippered pocket. GG logo at front with blue/red web equestrian web stripe accent. Navy blue leather trim with adjustable shoulder strap. Bag measures approximately 7"H x 11"W x 3"D. Strap drop is 17” to 19”long. Could be worn as a crossbody for a smaller shorter petite person. ITEM CONDITION: Good used pre-owned condition for a bag from the 80’s. PVC vinyl body of the bag is in good condition showing minor fading/rubbing on corners and light marks from previous use/age. Leather accent pieces and shoulder strap have light fading/wear/scratches//dulling of the leather due to age. All stitching appears to be intact. Shoulder strap has small bend from where it was set for many years. Hardware has light tarnish/fading, but most of the gold color remains. Interior compartment had the peeling/shredding problem that commonly occur in bags from this era. It has been stripped and cleaned down to the gray flannel like cloth beneath. It is clean with no holes, stains or storage odors. A few tiny stragglers remain on the fabric. If you look closely at the photos you can see tiny dots on the fabric. The bag could really benefit from a good cleaning and polishing. It would give it a fresh new look. The bag is decades old, previously used, and not new and shows some signs of wear and age.
