This vintage jewelry box is made of inlaid burl wood with a lacquer finish in the Sorrento style. Looks very similar to a Sorrento music box but it doesn't have a musical movement.  The box is rectangular in shape and features a music-themed design with a lute and recorder on the lid.

The interior of the box is lined with deep red velvet. It measures 4"×3 3/8"×2" on the outside and the inner dimensions are 2 3/4"×2 1/8"×1 1/8"

It's a beautiful little box for jewelry and trinkets. Excellent vintage condition.  Some light scratches on the bottom.
