Beautifully painted model (painted by myself). This is a GEM TT gauge mallard built on a Triang Britannia chassis.

I made a few modifications to this model to enable it to run on Triang TT large radius curves. The rear truck rotates, and the flanges on the middle two sets of tender wheels have been filed off (making them blind). This loco nicely navigates the wide radius curves.

Nicely finished in LNER garter blue, the wheels are LNER crimson lake.

The loco is quite heavy and needs a proper Triang 12V controller to make it run well. The loco runs better backwards rather than forwards. I will post a video of it running soon.
