Franklin Mint 1921-D Morgan Silver Dollar Pocket Watch - Sponsored by the Internation Numismatic Society

Includes: Watch - Original Watch Chain - Original Locking Mini Jewelry Box which doubles as a Display Stand - Original Key

This is a mechanical (wind-up) pocket watch - No batteries required. The video is just a quick look at the movements in action.

Watch is in Excellent Mechanical and Physical Condition - Very minor scratch on the bottom where the case gets popped open.

After winding it up, the watch time was set to coincide with my laptop clock and then checked as of this posting, approximately 27 hours, -----The Results Were: Perfect Time Keeping with my Laptop Clock - Literally, Kept Up-To-The-Minute with the Laptop Clock, -----

I am by no means a coin grader, but the Morgan Silver Dollar looks to be in Excellent condition. I am strictly guessing after reading the grading guide. My GUESS is this is, at least: (AU-58) Very Choice About Uncirculated - Slightest hints of wear marks, no significant contact marks, almost full mint luster, and positive eye appeal. If you just go by eye appeal than this coin actually looks better than a lot of the graded MS60s, and even some of the MS63s, that sold here on eBay, but when you add in wear of high points, I THINK that's what stops this from hitting the MS ratings. It definitely has a minimal amount of contact points, and less than many of those 60s and 63s that sold here.

The Mini Jewelry Box is in VG - Exc. condition. Lock/Key works as they should. No bangs, dings, chips to the box itself. The only fault I see with it, is that the metal cover plate on the inside cover of the wooden jewelry box has worn letters ("M" and "O"), in the word "Morgan" and at certain angles of light you can see scratches on the plate from, what I will assume, was somebody trying to clean it. - View the last picture to clearly see what I am talking about with the letters.

I believe at the $222.22 starting price this item is priced to sell, but we'll see what the bidders say. Good luck all, thanks for looking.
