This is a very nice clock from one of my favorite American makers rite up there with Seth Thomas of course and Ansoni and they were crafted in nearby Forestville CT. I would think this to be in the 1870's -80's timeframe. It is very much all original including the seen better days paper dial. I would change it to a timesavers repro but most collectors would prefer original. Strike sounds nice and movement absolutely guaranteed to be proper and will take dial off again for picture if serious customers request but it is proper movement and from a very good collection. I got a beautiful Ansonia Broadway with it. I will continue researching to see if can find model name, for now I tried to price for good value and this is a guaranteed runner. It very much seems to be upper end Welch and in  my travels I truly don't remember too many nicer parlor/kitchen/mantel Welch models. It measures 25" tall x 17" wide so it's not huge but its a nice size clock.  I go over all my clocks before shipping and make sure I didn't miss anything and try my best to pack well. Everything goes insured just in case and my items are returnable. Please respect that and it does take a bit of time, I've been dealing clocks for over 30 years now, but boxes do occasionally get mishandled. Your covered please no quick draws and preparing takes time if you want start to tracking package the afternoon you order maybe think about it. Thanks for taking a look!!!
