Presented here is an impressive vintage wide sterling silver watch cuff by Navajo artist, Lowell Draper. The design of this 1 1/4" wide, slightly domed overlay watch cuff features two large round sunface images in relief against a lightly textured oxidized background, with the edges and ends of the cuff in relief, as well as the area framing the 3/4" (19mm) circular opening for a watch face. Attached on the inside of the cuff on either side of the opening are two large silver tabs for installing a watch by its lugs. Adjacent to the opening, the inside of the cuff is marked with the artist's initials, "L D", and "Sterling". This piece, which weighs a substantial 54 grams, has an inside end-to-end measurement of 5 3/4", a gap of 1 1/4", and a measurement across in the inside of the cuff of 2 1/4", making it a good fit for a medium to largish-medium wrist size. The condition is excellent, with only extremely minimal signs of wear. With its clean, un-fussy design and beautiful workmanship, this fabulous Navajo watch cuff by Lowell Draper will make checking the time a pleasure!
