This is a very desirable from what I've seen and did come with a hunting dog topper or without back in 1886. This doesn't appear to ever have had the topper but it's in Tran Duy Ly's New Haven bible book pg 280 and of course nothing is the same as 15 20 years ago but it is a pretty desirable clock especially if one is into hunting and hunting dogs. Tried to picture the motiff's a bit to do most of the talking and show off. It has a porcelain dial and open escapement plus a guaranteed runner. movement appears to have very low wear and if I saw any worn bushings  or other problems when I had out I would have addressed them.   Measures 14 1/2" tall x 11' wide. The case is a brass finishj and according to book also came in a nickel finish.  We are into show season and I'm rite in the middle of history rich southern New England went to Brimfield today scored a few goodies, so I'm looking to go find some hopefully good stuff and everything takes sales/money. I go over all my clocks before shipping and make sure I didn't miss anything and try my best to pack well. Everything goes insured just in case and my items are returnable. Please respect that and it does take a bit of time, I've been dealing clocks for over 30 years now, but boxes do occasionally get mishandled. Your covered please no quick draws and preparing takes time if you want start to tracking package the afternoon you order maybe think about it. Thanks for taking a look!!!
