Please notice the quilt is very old, but at some point previous owners added some kind of blueish thin cotton border, that is obviously NOT old; the measurements given here are for the actual quilt, without considering those funny borders.

There are no holes or rips, or stains; it has no odors.

The only serious flaw observed is that the batting inside has moved enough as to create some slight bumps here and there. It has moved more on the edges of the quilt.

The machine quilting is also a flaw, from our point of view: it was applied in irregular curvy lines, and does not favor the looks of the quilt, but it gives it the "rustic" impression that we mentioned in the title.

The quilt, which as no binding, by the way, measures 73" by 63" across and weighs 4 1/4 lb. unboxed; the bed is a queen, 80" by 60".

The appliques were all  made with feed sacks, all different, no repeats, although 2 of the fabrics share the same print, in different colorways. The appliques were attached to the white cotton by hand.

As backing, a fabric that we believe is flannel, in an off-white color, was used.
